After ten years of secret dreaming I hitched my chariot shafts,
In person I visited piled-up peaks, and finally found the noblest.
The 'Cloud Capital of Heaven' is like the deep breathings of a Taoist,
These mountains of Jiangnan form a rank of sons and grandsons.
Pinnacles shoot up a thousand fathoms of bare and barren rock,
A path enters the layered mists where only apes are found,
Who can say that on the vermilion terrace the magic fires are quenched!
The water of the cinnabar springs until today is warm.
