Label CopyThis Late Chimú burnished blackware vessel has two small curved strap handles and a zoomorphic (feline) design. The cat's open mouth forms the vessel opening, and its ears are molded on the spout, while the legs are on the body of the pot. A band of geometric desgns similar to those often woven into textiles and clothing is indicated on the shoulder of the pot. This round vessel has a curved base.Collections
