The shield divided down the middle with a sword and to either side are images of a ship, rooster, cross, lion head, bear, rampant lion, blazing sun, and what appears to be the letter \"E\" back-to-back, twice.  There is an inscription and the entire image is surrounded with small stars.  The reverse features an inset image of a shield with stars and stripes along with the date in Roman numerals.  This is framed with laurel leaves and ribbons.
