Sun disk (or radiance) in relief is present on the flattened left palm and the left sole. The figure wears a monk's robe, covering its left shoulder, over an elaborate, jeweled necklace with a medallion. Its forehead seems recessed, as the brows projects forward almost at angle. Neck seems to have been broken and repaired. The teardrop-shaped urna? (or hairy tuft of the Buddhas' forehead is concave; perhaps it was inset with a jewel or gem at one time.
