The front depicts a blind musician playing a Chinese violin-typed instrument under a full moon. The reverse depicts a calligraphy poem titled Yuge Zi which says, rowing a one-man boat under a moonlit river with three mile visibility while wearing a thin blouse that does not protect against the wind. This bottle was made in the May of Gengshen (1980).</value></field><field label="Media" name="media"><value>2015.033.054.1stview</value><value>2015.033.054.2ndview</value></field><field label="Artist / Maker / Culture" name="people"><value>Liu Ziyi</value></field></object><object xmlns:xs="//www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"><field name="primaryMedia"><value>src: https://emuseum.cornell.edu/internal/media/dispatcher/97413/full</value></field><field label="Title" name="title"><value>Snuff bottle with design of tigers</value></field><field label="Date" name="displayDate"><value>1980</value></field><field label="Primary Maker" name="primaryMaker"><value>Liu Ziyi</value></field><field label="Object number" name="invno"><value>2015.033.018</value></field><field label="Id" name="id"><value>208102</value></field><field label="Source ID" name="sourceId"><value>48682</value></field><field label="Description" name="description"><value>flattened rectangular with rounded shoulders on raised recessed base.
Both sides depict a continuous scene of three Tigers along a river in a bamboo forest. One Tiger is crouching on a rock while lapping water from the river. The calligraphy on the front panel says, the men (leaders) of the forest. A euphemism for Tigers. Made in the summer of Year Gengshen (1980). The calligraphy on the reverse is a poem of the Tigers in the bamboo rain forest and asks, if the river water lapped by the Tiger is as white as the mountain waterfall? The sounds of the Tigers are carried by the wind.
The color of white also suggests purity, thus mentioning the whiteness of waterfall might be a sarcasm toward corruption scenes of leaders.

The front depicts an attendant holding two horses. The reverse depicts two warriors in the forest looking a treasured sword. The sword might be treasured dated back to the period of Emperor Guangxu (Qing Dynasty). The calligraphy on the front says, Traveler Sees His Destination in Sight (Jiangshan Mountain), made in the spring of Jiazi (1984).</value></field><field label="Media" name="media"><value>2015.033.055.1stview</value><value>2015.033.055.2ndview</value></field><field label="Artist / Maker / Culture" name="people"><value>Liu Ziyi</value></field></object></objects>
