Decorated with floral and fret motifs in black and white inlaid on greenish glaze. Possibly 12th C., 2nd half. Small cup, curved walls on medium high foot.  Walls inverted just below mouth-rim. Decoration Outside:  Two concentric inlaid white rings around mouthrim enclosed to form bank 3/16". White inlaid chrysanthemums with black center and black vegetation. Inside:  Reverse of chrysanthemums comes through like a molded decoration on inside walls. Glaze:  Lustrous blue-green celadon, finely crackled. Foot description:  Narrow rim, glaze.  Base is glazed all over and barely recessed from footrim.  Higher in center than at edges. Spur marks:  Three quartz-pebble marks symmetrically spaced around base. Condition:  Very good.
