Decorated in inlaid (mishima) floral and fruiting sprays in white inlaid on celadon green ground. Possibly 13th c. Bowl with curved walls. Decoration:  White inlay bank, 2", freely drawn arabesque surrounding four roundels enclosing chrysanthemum in center, four fruiting branches (lichi or pomegranate?) on walls below white inlay bank, abbreviated rinceau. Body color:  Grey stoneware burnt brown where exposed. Glaze:  Greyish-blue green, lustrous, finely crackled, pitted in places. Foot description:  Sloppy. Foot 1/4". Rounded foot rim partly glazed, showing evidence of having been damaged before glazing.  Base plate glazed. Spur marks:  One mark on base plate from large quartz-like pebble, along with large mass of kiln grit.  Kiln grit, silica sand traces on foot rim.
