The stopper is agate on a black plinth.
One side depicts five boatmen from the village called “Shiye”, in three sanpan boats. The other side depicts seven men standing under a tree. One is brandishing a sword. The calligraphy says these seven men are getting together because of their common belief, and their valued friendship/brotherhood. They are said to be almost like stars. In one sense they were the “Chinese Robin Hood”. It also identifies that the bottle was made in the fall of the year Xinyi (1941).
