The stopper is yellowish-green jade on a black plinth.
The front depicts a fisherman in a blue jacket flinging a net into the water below a set of mountains. A woman is sorting out the fish caught in the net. The reverse depicts a boy riding on the back of a water buffalo in the shallow water, with two treed islands behind them. The calligraphy suggests that it was painted in the winter of 1982.
