Interior depicts flowers and butterflies. Side cartouches of flowers and leaves on yellow ground. Mark on base is of the One Bottle School.
The calligraphy suggests that it was painted in the early autumn of 1965. The extensive calligraphy states that it is a clear sunny spring day and the butterflies are playing. There is a profusion of flowers and vegetation surrounding a book fed pond. There is a variety of beautiful butterflies all over.
