It sits on a square base and has four woven feet with four decorative inserts attached with rattan insect stitches on the front and back. The high handle is formed from two long pieces of split bamboo bound together and knotted at the top with an extra decorative insert. The handle is attached to the sides of the basket with rattan stitches. The rim is banded with rattan and attached with insect stitched wrappings.
