Label CopyThis cloth depicts the Indonesian national logo consisting of the mythical eagle Garuda. On its chest is a shield containing five symbols: the head of a banteng (buffalo), a beringin (banyan tree), padi (rice plants), a bintang (star), and a rantai (unbroken linked chain). These items comprise the national ideology called Panjtja Sila (Pancila), which embodies five principles: faith in one god, nationalism, humanism, democracy, and social justice. The motto Bhineka (Bhinneka) Tunggal Ika means "Unity in Diversity" and recognizes the more than one hundred different ethnic groups that live within the country.
