Label CopyThis very large cloth has two separate scenes divided by a pair of spectacular nagas. The right half depicts a major Hindu temple ceremony with five men and five women praying before a table with vessels of offerings and a large ritual bowl. The left half shows Kumbakarna battling the monkey king Maruti (Hanuman) and Ngado (Anggada) in the Ramayana.
