Standing on a cloud, moving down from left to right, Amida has his hands in the mudra of giving and receiving. Nimbus, garments, and drapery are outlined in gold. The sense of the calligraphic line and planar design are indicated in the floral and geometric textile patterns. A dark blue associated with Buddhist images of the time and earlier, surrounds the figure.
