A snow flurry has just passed, according to the inscription, and under a bright sunny window the artist is reminded of the various masters from the Song, Yuan, and Ming dynasties.  He then decides to depict this album leaf, and finds his hand and wrist stiff from having just recuperated from an illness.  A scholar is seated in halll within a villa compoud surrounded by trees, with bamboo outside the fence.  In the foreground two figures stop to converse on a bridge above a stream; snowy mountains and darkened sky in the distance.  Artist inscription, date, signature and two seals on the upper right.  Dated the first month of renwu cycle in the Daoguang reign period (1821-50)."},"medium":{"label":"Medium","value":"Album leaf; ink and color on silk"},"onview":{"label":"On View","value":"0"},"media":{"label":"Media","value":"81.134.002_Disc0431_04315022"},"title":{"label":"Title","value":"Wintry Landscape"},"classification":{"label":"Classifications","value":"Paintings"},"people":{"label":"Artist / Maker / Culture","value":"Qian Du"},"primaryMedia":{"value":"https://emuseum.cornell.edu/internal/media/dispatcher/73251/full"},"displayDate":{"label":"Date","value":"1821-22"},"id":{"label":"Id","value":"181891"},"dimensions":{"label":"Dimensions","value":"Image: 7 3/4 x 9 3/4 inches (19.7 x 24.8 cm)"}}]}
