Even, restrained, and dry brushstrokes accompanied by pale ink wash; orderly and quiet vignettes of unspecified temple grounds, riverscapes with a solitary figure, rugged highlands, thatched cottage next to a bamboo grove, and a deserted rustic hut in the manner of Ni Zan (1301-1374).
