The obverse features the left profile portrait of Katrina Trask with her name inscribed below between two roses.  The reverse features an allegorical composition of a female figure seen upon the grounds of Yaddo who is passing a torch to a winged figure (of Cupid?) who holds flowers in one hand and the torch in the other.
