Sky blue crackled glaze on body with many pores, stops at unglazed, short foot.  Lip is coffee colored.  Plate was made to imitate the Chun ware of the Sung Dynastry.  However, no attempt to defraud was intended as on the bottom of the plate is impressed a mark noting that it is a copy.  Except for the area near the foot, hte attempt to duplicate Chun ware has been rather successsful, even thought the bottom was glazed.  A good study piece."},"medium":{"label":"Medium","value":"Porcelain, blue glaze"},"onview":{"label":"On View","value":"0"},"media":{"label":"Media","value":"91.075.048_Disc0451_04516010"},"title":{"label":"Title","value":"Dish"},"classification":{"label":"Classifications","value":"Ceramics"},"primaryMedia":{"value":"https://emuseum.cornell.edu/internal/media/dispatcher/76374/full"},"displayDate":{"label":"Date","value":"18th century"},"id":{"label":"Id","value":"215042"},"dimensions":{"label":"Dimensions","value":"6 3/4 × 1 inches (17.2 × 2.5 cm)"}}]}
