The shoulder has S-lines incised in a radial pattern which is repeated on the inside lip of the flared-out neck, although the S-lines radially fan outwards and in the opposite direction. The spout, a gracefully formed S-curve shape rears above the flared-out neck and curiously starts from the widest portion of the bulbous body. The spout is braced by a stylized ju-i sceptre. The handle on the opposite side is flat with a combed pattern ending with a diamond-shaped tail-piece with five rivets. The bulbous center body is decorated with branches of peaches on one side and plums on the other side reserved in relief by having the background around them cut away. At the bottom, near the foot of the ewer, incised lotus petals fanning upwards to a double-border line. The footrim is slightly rounded and the base is left unglazed with a reddish brown biscuit.</schema:description><schema:artForm>com.gallerysystems.emuseum.core.entities.Classification@61</schema:artForm><schema:url>https://emuseum.cornell.edu/objects/26064/rdf</schema:url></schema:VisualArtwork></rdf:RDF>
