The ribbon is carved to appear as though it is suspended in mid-air as though it is being blown about by the wind.  The guardians stance suggests searching over a long distance.  The right arm is raised with the hand shading the eyes like a visor.  the left hand is lowered and holding a gilded spear angled toward the ground.the square pedestal is decorated with a floral figure on the front and blue and white designs on the side.
