The top tier shows three 'pure deitiess' or 'stargods', with flaming red halos, with two smaller attendants flanking the central one, with the two characters for moon and sun on blue clouds above them. The next tiers, tier 2 to 8 from the top, consist of a central figure with a red halo (except the blue-faced animal-face-like figure in tier 3) flanked by three dignitaries in gowns on either side, making a total of seven figures. The flanking dignitaries are either standing (tiers 2,4,6,8) or riding horses (tiers 3,5,7) or mythical animals (tier 9). The central figures are all dressed as officials, except for the one in tier 8, who is monk-like. The bottom tier, tier 9, breaks the pattern of the above: in the left corner stands an official under a blue-tiled pavilion roof. Facing him are five riders brandishing swords, mounted on (from left to right): a "lion", a "tapir", a "phoenix", a "bull" and a "unicorn". According to Gichner's appraisal, the central figure in tier 2 is Yut Hung, prime minister, and on tier 4, the Kings of Heaven. I am not sure if this corresponds accurately to the paintings at hand. 6/3/86 Astri W.</value></field><field label="Classifications" name="classification"><value>Paintings</value></field><field label="Id" name="id"><value>212892</value></field><field label="Width" name="width"/><field label="Height" name="height"/><field label="Source ID" name="sourceId"><value>18588</value></field><field label="Depth" name="depth"/><field label="Artist / Maker / Culture" name="people"><value>Unidentified artist</value></field><field label="Culture" name="culture"><value>Vietnam</value></field><field label="Media" name="media"><value>85.059.002</value></field></object>
