The buddha is seated in lotus position, with the right foot showing and the sole of the foot facing up: the other foot is covered with stylized drapery folds.  He is flanked by two smaller attendant dieties, probably the disciples Ananda and Kasyapa, with hands clasped in worship.  There is an eight column inscription carved into the front of the base of the stele.  Some shipping in the upper right hand of the Buddha and on the edge of the halo, and the lower right portion of the inscription is worn away.
